The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is the largest stock exchange in the world by total market capitalization. It is located in New York City and is home to some of the biggest companies in the world. Over 3,000 companies are listed on the exchange, giving it a market value of more than $20 trillion. Although the exchange is open for business on a daily basis, the Stock Exchange district remains busy on weekends with tourists, locals and photographers milling about taking pictures with their cameras. When visiting the area, be sure to have a look at The Fearless Girl Statue and the Wall Street Bull, two iconic symbols of the New York Stock Exchange district. Fascinating tours are offered daily that take visitors around the building and inside the trading floor which provides an interesting insight into the high finance of the exchange.
