The New Hampshire State House is the state capitol building in Concord, New Hampshire. Built in 1819, it is one of the oldest statehouses still in use. The structure is made up of Greek Revival style architecture and features a bell tower, a domed roof, and a three-story granite portico. Inside, visitors can explore a large chamber where the state legislature meets, two branches of the Supreme Court, a museum, and the New Hampshire State Library. Visitors can explore the building’s many attractions without an admission fee. Guided tours are available at the Visitor's Center, located in the courtyard of the State House. Tourists can learn about the state's history, including displays of its original founding documents, artifacts from the American Revolution, and a timeline of prominent events in New Hampshire's history. The State House is a popular destination for history and architectural buffs.
