Neuerburg Castle, situated in the small town Neuerburg in Germany, is an amazing historical building dating back to the Middle Ages. It was originally built in the 12th century but was destroyed at the end of World War II and then reconstructed in its former glory in the 1960s. The castle is built entirely of sandstone and boasts of its intricately designed pointed towers and beautiful turrets. Its semi-circular barbican and high curtain walls make it a spectacle to behold. You can view the beautiful landscape from its walls and take a guided tour around the castle. Fascinating historical displays from the Middle Ages, including helmets, paintings and weapons, are also on display. There is also a museum dedicated to the castle located in the towers. It is a great destination for history buffs and offers picturesque views.
