Neuer See

Neuer See, or New Lake, is a man-made lake in Stuttgart, Germany. It was created in 1908 as part of a large urban development project and is a great destination for travelers and photographers alike. At the lake's edge, two hedges of complex knot-works are located, each with a distinctive history. On the west side is the Rose Garden, a symbol of Stuttgart’s freedom from Nazi occupation. On the east side is the classic Englischer Gärten, landscaped in 1820 to reflect the English style. Visitors to Neuer See can try various watersports, admire the views of the surrounding valleys, or ponder the monuments at the memorial site. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes near the lake, providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy the local atmosphere.
