Nesjavellir, in Iceland, is a unique geothermal power station located in the southwestern part of the country. Operated by the National Power Company, it is one of the largest power suppliers in Iceland and provides energy to much of the urban population. Non-motorised activities like hiking and cycling are popular in the summer months.
