The iconic NEMA building in Chicago, USA is the tallest building between New York City and Los Angeles. Designed by structural engineer Fazlur Khan and architect Bruce Graham, it stands at 1,136 feet and has 110 stories. The building is presently the tallest in the Midwest and the twenty-fourth tallest in the world.

NEMA Chicago, as it is colloquially known, offers breathtaking views of the city from its two observation decks on the 99th and 100th floors. Designed with a modernist architectural philosophy, the building is topped off with a blue pyramid that glows at night and serves as a beacon of comfort and safety. NEMA Chicago also features 120,000 square feet of retail space in its first two stories and is estimated to have an economic impact of over $400 million in downtown Chicago.
