Nelson Falls is a must-see destination while visiting Gormanston in Australia. Located near one of the nation's most important reserves - The Walls of Jerusalem National Park, this mighty waterfall is both terrifying and beautiful at the same time. It’s easily accessible as its only a 7.4 KM drive from Gormanston. The breathtaking view of the falls plunging 40-meters off the southwest corner of Lake Barinia provides a wonderful opportunity to capture its grandeur in photos. It’s best to visit the area during autumn and spring when the color of the surrounding foliage make the scenery more vivid. Adjacent to the falls is Nelson Creek, which provides nice walks, fishing, and a scenic picnic area.
