
Naveta d'Es Tudons is an iconic archaeological site located near Ciudadela de Menorca in Spain. The site dates back to the Early Bronze Age and is made up of two truncated cone structures that are believed to have been used for religious or political meetings. It is the best-preserved example of a type of megalithic architecture that is unique to Minorca, the Naveta. These unusual buildings, believed to have been used to store communal grain and other produce, are also thought to have served as tombs for the ancient local people. Today, the site is open to the public, with visitors able to explore the two structures as well as learning about their fascinating history.
