Nash cliffs rise above the Bristol Channel near Llantwit Major, on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. Alternating layers of limestone and mudstone give the cliff faces their striped appearance, while broad rock platforms emerge along the shore as the tide falls. The exposed layers, wide channel horizon and nearby Nash Point lighthouse make this stretch of coast recognizable.
