Nagoya Castle Guardtower is one of the few surviving structures in Nagoya, Japan since the castle complex was destroyed by Allied bombing raids during World War II. The tower dates back to 1420 and is made up of three tiers of castle walls and 38 well-preserved towers. The guardtower is the symbol of Nagoya and is one of the most photographed places in the city. Visitors can explore the grounds, climb the steps to the top of the tower and enjoy stunning views of the city. The guardtower is also a popular spot for souvenir shops. The area around the castle is home to some of the city's oldest shrines and temples, which makes it a great location for exploring the city's past.
