Nacpan Beach is a roughly four-kilometer stretch of golden sand north of El Nido town, on Palawan’s western coast. Its broad, palm-lined bay offers a different coastal landscape from the limestone cliffs and enclosed lagoons more commonly associated with El Nido. At its southern end, neighboring Calitang Beach lies on the other side of a narrow peninsula; the pair is known as the Twin Beaches. Coconut palms and low green hills frame Nacpan’s long shoreline, giving wide views distinct bands of sand, sea, and vegetation. Around the southern fishing settlement, boats add a glimpse of everyday coastal life to the scene.
