The Mussenden Temple is a unique National Trust property on the edge of a limestone headland on the Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland. The temple was built in 1785 by the 4th Earl Bishop of Derry Frideswide Mussenden and is today a popular destination for tourists, offering stunning views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Visitors can explore the grounds, old buildings and crumbled stone walls as well as signs and plaques telling stories of the area's history. The temple is a great spot for birdwatchers as well, with Ospreys, Peregrines, Choughs, and Gulls often sighted nearby. You can also explore the nearby Baronscourt. The estate includes a deer park and a spectacular 18th-century landscape garden with avenues, walls, terraces and follies, which echo the temple.
