Museu de Arte Islâmica is a unique museum in Doha, Qatar, dedicated to the Islamic art and culture. The museum’s permanent collection includes manuscripts, jewellery, woodwork, and ceramics from Islamic countries all over the world. Photography is not allowed inside the galleries, but the impressive exterior of the museum provides an ideal backdrop for taking unique photos. One of the highlights of the museum is the courtyard, with two glazed inner sanctums featuring Islamic art, illuminated by sunlight that shines in through the glass ceiling. The museum also houses a library, which contains a collection of Islamic texts, artworks and books.
