
Museo de Arte Hispanoamericano Isaac Fernández Blanco is an art museum located in the heart of Buenos Aires. Established in 1948, it exhibits the art of Spanish-American artists from the sixteenth century to present day. It features a diverse collection of European and African works, such as sculptures, paintings, pottery and furniture. The museum’s permanent exhibition is one of the most important in Latin America and focuses on a variety of movements like Flemish figurative painting, Baroque-style portraiture, and Spanish Colonial art. On the second floor, visitors can also find a library specialized in Hispanic and Latin American artistic culture and an impressive art library. This insightful destination has one of the most comprehensive and representational collections of Latin American art in the world.
