Murdeshwara Beach is located in the tiny coastal town of Murdeshwar in Karnataka, India. It is situated at the base of a magnificent giant 64m tall statue of Lord Shiva, with its arms spread wide open. It is also home to the Murdeshwar Temple, a Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The beach is surrounded by lush green coconut groves and is a sight to behold. The sand is soft and clean, providing a serene atmosphere for walking barefoot and soaking in the beauty of the natural surroundings. When you visit the beach, you’ll also be able to find facilities for swimming, parasailing, and water sports. If you’re looking to take a break from the sun, you can rent a houseboat and explore the vast backwaters near the beach. Other nearby attractions include the Murdeshwar fort and a variety of interesting temples that worth checking out. It’s also a paradise for bird watchers.
