Multnomah Falls is a stunning sight located in the Columbia River gorge, east of Portland, Oregon. The iconic waterfall is composed of a two-tier cascade, with an upper cascade of 542 feet, and a lower one of 69 feet. It's the tallest waterfall in Oregon and the second tallest in all of the United States. It's a favorite tourist attraction, drawing visitors from all over to take in the majestic views, and snap photographs of the majestic falls. There are plenty of trails, including a paved path and a paved viewing loop, as well as a 4.9 mile loop trail that includes a bridge to the Benson Footbridge. The falls are surrounded by lush forest and ferns, making it a beautiful place to explore and admire nature. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature, this is definitely the spot.
