Mt. Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano located in Zambales, Philippines. It rises 1,486 meters above sea level, making it the second highest volcano in the Philippines. The volcano is renowned for its eruption in June 1991, which was the second-largest terrestrial eruption of the 20th century.
