Mt. Okura Ski Jump Stadium (Ōkurayama-Schanze) is one of the oldest ski jump stadiums in Sapporo, Japan. Built in 1958, the stadium has hosted three Winter Olympic Events and served as training venue for professional ski jumpers. The ski jump stadium also offers a spectacular view of Sapporo city in its background. A nearby observation deck provides panoramic views of the town and can be accessed after a short climb.

The ski jump tower stands at an impressive 70 meters and is the symbol of Sapporo’s Winter Olympic legacy. The interior of the stadium has been renovated to usher in a more modern era, with several souvenir shops housed along the slopes. Ski jumpers and adventurous visitors can also take the lift up to the top and witness a breathtaking sunset. The stadium serves as a reminder of the major event that once graced Japan and continues to enthral visitors of all ages.
