Mount Willard is a popular 2.6 mile out and back hike located in New Hampshire. Spectacular views of the neighboring mountain ranges, overflowing rivers, and distant lakes present sublime opportunities for both hikers and photographers alike. The trail follows numerous switchbacks to the summit, where flat and open rocky fields offer expansive views of Crawford Notch, Mount Jefferson, and Mount Tom. While on the summit, you'll have access to a restful shelter where you can enjoy views and a meal after a hard climb. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as the ascent to Mount Willard is both steep and strenuous.
