Most Zwierzyniecki is a steel arch bridge over the Old Oder in eastern Wrocław, beside the city’s zoo and on the route toward Centennial Hall and Szczytnicki Park. Opened in 1897, it combines late-19th-century engineering with ornamental stonework: yellow-painted lattice arches rise above the roadway, while red sandstone pylons mark the approaches. Tram tracks run beneath the overhead bracing, placing everyday city movement within its repeating steel geometry. From the riverbank, the arch reads as a sweeping outline above the water; from either entrance, the layered framework and contrasting stone pillars give the bridge its recognizable character.
