The Hassan II Mosque is a stunning architectural masterpiece located in Casablanca, Morocco. Completed in 1993, it is one of the the largest mosques in the world and serves as a major religious and cultural destination. Its large, ornate minaret rises to heights of 200 meters or 650 feet and is visible from most parts of the city. Inside, visitors can admire intricately patterned stucco, brightly colored tiles and intricate woodwork, as well as a beautiful rose marble mihrab complete with intricate carvings. The mosque’s interior is large enough to accommodate up to 25,000 worshippers.
