Moresco is a compact fortified hill town in the province of Fermo, in Italy’s Marche region, overlooking the rolling agricultural landscape of the Aso valley. Its medieval center is defined by brick walls, narrow lanes and Piazza Castello, where an arcaded loggia and closely grouped historic buildings create a strong sense of enclosure. The town’s most recognizable feature is its unusual seven-sided tower, a distinctive landmark above the terracotta rooftops. From the outer walls and higher viewpoints, photographs can frame the geometric tower against layered fields, distant ridges and, in clear conditions, the Adriatic horizon. Warm brick textures and restrained stone details give the village a visual character closely tied to the architecture of southern Marche.
