
Monumento Cura Brochero is a life-sized bronze statue dedicated to the famous Argentine priest, Cura Brochero. Located in Villa Cura Brochero, in Argentina's Córdoba province, it is a popular pilgrimage site and a symbol of pride and devotion to Father Brochero’s altruism and humility. The monument, which was inaugurated in 1953, stands atop a hillside with a beautiful view of the Sierras Chicas and Sierras Grandes mountain ranges. The statue stands 6.7 meters tall, depicting Father Brochero dressed in his traditional garments, wearing a poncho and a straw hat, and holding a crucifix and a lamb. At the base of the statue a museum awaits allowing visitors to learn more about Father Brochero’s life. The area also offers a lovely playground and picnic spots, as well as an expanded chapel, and a variety of restaurants. The cura Brochero Museum is open to the public from 9AM to 6PM seven days a week.
