Monumento ad Angelo Brofferio is a beautiful statue in the capital of Piedmont, Turin. It is found in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, in front of Palazzo Carignano. It is dedicated to the lawyer and statesman Angelo Brofferio, who has been credited with a huge role in the Italian Unification. The huge marble and bronze monument was designed by sculptor Vincenzo Vela in 1870. It stands on a Socle and it is framed by four bas-reliefs, which symbolize Justice, Progress, Security and Knowledge. Monumento ad Angelo Brofferio is a must-see attraction in Turin and a great place to observe the Italian Unification.
