The Monument to Alexander Pushkin is a monumental stone sculpture located in the courtyards of the Tver State University in Tver, Russia. Dedicated to the great Russian poet of the 19th century, the monument was created by prominent Russian sculptor Sergey Orlov and revealed in 2000. The sculpture features an imposing figure of Alexander Pushkin standing in the middle of a marble pedestal, surrounded by four stone plaques. On one of the plaques an excerpt of the famous poem by Pushkin is engraved in Russian. The monument is one of the main attractions of the historic downtown of Tver and is frequently visited by admirers of the famous poet, admirers of Russian culture, students and tourists alike.
