Designed by Pierre Cuypers, one of the most gifted Dutch architects of his time, the memorial consists of an enormous pyramidal structure, around which an obelisk and several monuments bear the Coat of Arms and large combatant figures. The memorial is designed in a Neo-Classical style, with great white marble vessels in the form of cauldrons, the monument and, of course, the majestic pyramidal structure contributing to its majestic setting. Additionally, there is a chapel situated at the monument site which houses a collection of artwork, documents and relics pertaining to the Battle of Austerlitz. This monument site is not just a remarkable landmark, but also provides a glimpse into Dutch and military history.🗺 MapShow on Map🎫 Tourist attractionsCheck tourist attractions nearby🏨 HostelsCheck hostels nearby🌦 Weather informationGet weather information, and much more, from the app. Download it for free!🚕 How to get there?Get routes information (by car, walking, public transport, etc), and much more, from the app. Download it for free!
