The Monument Pyramide van Austerlitz is a reminder of one of the most important battles in Dutch history, located in the municipality of Woudenburg, Netherlands. This memorial was opened in 1815, in honour of the Battle of Austerlitz fought on December 2 in 1805. It was designed by the renowned architect Jacob Otten Husly and is located in the middle of the former battlefield. The monument consists of a 20-metre-high pyramid of Oolitic limestone, with stairs leading to the top and a broad terrace from which visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Inside, there are two galleries that house statues and sculptures of battle heroes. There is also a nearby museum dedicated to the Battle of Austerlitz that visitors can explore.

The well-maintained gardens are an ideal spot for a peaceful stroll and make the perfect backdrop for a memorable photograph. With the high walls and beautiful floral displays, you can easily snap a stunning picture of this historical site.
