Montreal's streets provide travelers and photographers with a unique mix of historical, cultural and architectural experiences. From the winding, cobbled streets of Old Montreal to the modern, quirky streets of the Plateau, Montreal offers a range of experiences that can be explored on foot.

One of the most iconic streets of Montreal is St-Laurent Boulevard, also known as the Main. This busy street runs through the Plateau and downtown and is lined with old-world cafes and trendy boutiques. With its vibrant street art and bustling nightlife, St-Laurent is a great place to explore. Also worth exploring are the Latin Quarter, a bohemian area with a vibrant cultural scene; the Griffintown district, with its cobblestone streets and renovated warehouses, and the Mile End, with its turn-of-the-century buildings and hip cafes. Be sure to check out Chinatown, which is located near the Quartier des Spectacles. Here, you'll find a range of colourful markets, restaurants and interesting shops. As you wander around Montreal's streets, you'll encounter interesting people and places, as well as plenty of artistic and architectural gems.
