Montreal City Hall is the home of the municipal government in Montreal, Canada. Located in Old Montreal, it is a striking building designed by architects Henri-Maurice Perrault and AlexanderCowper Hutchison in French Second Empire style. The exterior of the building is adorned with two towers, while the historic Chamber of Commerce room inside is decked with intricate wood paneling, illustrating the magnificence of the City Hall. This is a must-see tourist attraction due to its beauty, symbolism, and historical importance. The Square Émile-Duployé in front of the Montreal City Hall is a popular gathering site for celebrations and gatherings. There is a spectacular view of the city from the top of the towers, and the aura of the place is unique compared to other city halls. It opens Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Admission is free.
