
Monte Pelmo is a majestic mountain located in the heart of the Selva di Cadore, in the Province of Belluno, Italy. It is particularly known for the breathtaking view of its snow-tipped peak and its magnificent ski slopes that wind around the mountain. At an altitude of 3168 meters, it is the highest peak of the famous Antelao Group. The long, winding road up to the summit begins from Val Troncea, where visitors can get to several lookout points offering spectacular views of the Dolomites. There are several ski lifts, making it possible to explore the mountain. Visitors can also take advantage of the many paths, trails, and ski runs that provide almost limitless possibilities for skiing, snowboarding, and hiking. At the summit, there is a hotel, church, a monument dedicated to World War 1, and a lodge.
