Located in the heart of the beautiful Dolomites, Monte Pelmo is one of the most fascinating mountains in the Belluno Alps. Rising 3,168 meters above sea level, this stunning mountain is perhaps best known for its unique wave-like structure. The imposing massif of Laime, the huge wave-like rock structures of Campanile, La Face and La Cresta, as well as the breathtaking views of the Cadore valley, draw thousands of tourists and climbers to the area every year. Apart from its astonishing beauty, Monte Pelmo is also home to a large number of protected species, including the rare Alpine ibex, which makes this mountain even more special. The best way to explore Monte Pelmo is by climbing, as the route offers many different routes for everyone, from experienced climbers to beginners. The starting point is Rifugio Boz and from there you can enjoy the incredible views of the surrounding Dolomites.
