
Monte Faito is a mountain located in the Italian province of Vico Equense, south of Naples. It rises to an altitude of 1284 meters above sea level and is a part of the volcanic system of the Campi Flegrei. It offers hikers and explorers an impressive view of the bay of Naples and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The Monte Faito Natural Park covers around 500 hectares in altitude and features a variety of Mediterranean vegetation, such as evergreen trees, ferns, grasslands and shrubs. There are several hiking trails in the park, suitable for all levels of fitness. The ancient ruins of Roccamonfina Castle, dating back to the early Middle Ages, are also found in the area.
