
Mont Pourri, situated in Montvalezan, France, is an ancient limestone cliff peak in an area formed by the last glaciation. The highest point of the peak is 2,332 meters, and it is an important landmark visible to bystanders from the highest peaks of the Savoie. It is easy to access from Col des Aravis on the other side of the mountain using a cable bridge and a cable-driven funicular ride. The summit of Mont Pourri offers an amazing array of sights and experiences. One can marvel at the heavily glaciated slopes, the highest alpine flower meadow, the spectacular view of the Haute-Maurienne valley, glaciers and patches of the stunning Mont-Blanc range in the background.
