The Monastery of Santa Maria de Huerta is an 11th century former monastery located in Santa Maria de Huerta, Spain. Built between 1088 and 1100, the monastery has been restored to its original state and is now considered a National Monument. The monastery is renowned for its architecture, with Romanesque and Renaissance styles blended together. Visitors can explore the cloisters, small chapel, and stunning church, surrounded by beautiful grounds. Outside the monastery are the ruins of the general's house, as well as a visitor center. For a unique experience, visitors are able to ride horses around the grounds and enjoy views of the surrounding countryside. Tours are held regularly at the monastery, allowing visitors to learn more about its history and cultural importance.
