The Monasterio budista Garraf, near Barcelona, is a stunning monastic complex and temple that has been home to Buddhist Monks since its establishment in 1965. Located on the outskirts of a small hamlet at the foothills of the Garraf mountain range, the complex consists of two main buildings, a main temple and two residences, surrounded by lush gardens filled with quiet meditation spots. The historic building, which includes a giant Buddha Statue and a century-old olive tree, is open to the public. During the day, visitors are welcome to tour the grounds, experience the daily chanting, and observe Buddhist ceremonies.
