Molo di Cefalù is the pier beside the old harbor, where the Tyrrhenian Sea meets the historic center of this Sicilian coastal town. Looking back from the water’s edge, the view layers small fishing boats, weathered stone and ochre façades, the twin-towered Norman cathedral, and the massive outline of La Rocca above the rooftops. The harbor’s sheltered water can produce clear reflections, while changing light brings out the warm tones and textures of buildings rising directly from the shore. It is one of the clearest vantage points for showing Cefalù’s close relationship between medieval townscape, working waterfront, and dramatic natural setting.
