📍 Ireland
The Molly Malone Statue is situated on the corner of Suffolk Street and Gresham Street in Dublin City Centre. It is a tribute to the famous fisherwoman and songbird Molly Malone from 'Cockles and Mussels', a traditional Irish song. The bronze statue was created by Jeanne Rynhart in 1988 and stands on a granite base, sculpted by Victor Langford, that shows scenes of traditional Dublin life. It's a popular photo spot and a great place to start your tour of Dublin city. You'll find a bustling local market every Saturday in the temple bar area along with picturesque Georgian buildings and cobbled streets. Don't forget to check out Dublin Castle and the Guinness Storehouse for more interesting sites and a taste of Irish culture.
