Molino de Playa Blanca is a beautiful wind mill located in Playa Blanca on the southeastern coast of the Spanish island of Lanzarote. Its iconic white sail and relatively small size make it a popular tourist attraction in the area. The wind mill was built in 1730, and has been much photographed over the years. It stands out against the black volcanic sands of Playa Blanca and the crystal clear blue waters of the Cantalar Bay. With the marine reserve nearby, and the backdrop of the grand volcanic structures of the national park “Timanfaya”, Molino de Playa Blanca is an excellent photographic stop.
