Mole Antonelliana is an impressive landmark in Torino, Italy. It is the largest historic monument in the city, built in 1884-89 as a synagogue and with its iconic large spire, rising to 167,5 meters, is one of the tallest brick buildings in the world. The Mole Antonelliana houses a variety of collections, including for the Museo Nazionale del Cinema - the National Museum of Cinema – part of the ICCC (International Centre of Cinematography).The outside of the structure is mostly covered in white marble, while its interior is made from marble, terracotta and metal. Visitors can ride an elevator up to the terrace and enjoy the stunning views over Torino and the surrounding Italian Alps. The Mole is also well known for its grand staircases and the famous domed steel cupola in the attic. It is a great place to explore and capture the city of Torino in all its beauty.
