Mohamaya Lake is a man-made reservoir at Durgapur Naspada in Mirsarai Upazila, north of Chattogram. Created as part of an irrigation project, it lies among low, forested hills whose slopes form coves and narrow waterways around the lake. The recognizable scene is the contrast between calm green water, layered ridgelines and small boats or kayaks crossing the open surface. Reflections are clearest in still conditions, while the monsoon brings fuller watercourses and richer vegetation to the surrounding landscape.
