Moerputten Bridge, located in the lovely city of 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands is an interesting bridge surrounded by the city's canals. This 12th century bridge dates from the time when this area of Holland was known as 'Het Groene Woud', or The Green Wood. On one side of the bridge lies a unique waterwheel and its associated storage tanks, while a small railway crosses the moat on the opposite side. A large interactive sculpture sits at the crossing of the two canals, and the old locks of the Culemborg Canal are a further sight to behold. The Moerputten Bridge is a wonderful location to capture the historic feel of this city and the various architectural elements that make it so unique.
