Mirador al Chaltén is a viewpoint in El Chaltén, Argentina. From here, travelers and photographers alike can take in the majestic views of the massive mountains that make up the Patagonian Andes, including the iconic Fitz Roy. The viewpoint is at the start of the popular hiking trail known as Laguna de los Tres, which also offers fantastic views of the landscape. The trails are well maintained and loved by locals and visitors alike. For a more leisurely experience, visitors can take a short drive to the east to get another great view of the Fitz Roy mountain range. At night, visitors can also observe the constellation of stars in the clear night sky.
