📍 Türkiye
Miniatürk is an open-air miniature park in Sütlüce, on the northern shore of Istanbul’s Golden Horn in Beyoğlu. Its collection presents 1:25-scale models of notable monuments from Istanbul, Anatolia, and the wider Ottoman cultural landscape, bringing mosques, palaces, bridges, ancient sites, and civic buildings into a single setting. The uniform scale makes architectural relationships easy to read: domes rise above compact courtyards, minarets create layered sightlines, and intricate façades can be studied from angles unavailable at the originals. For photography, low viewpoints emphasize the illusion of full-size structures, while wider frames reveal the playful contrast between the models, landscaped paths, visitors, and the modern city around them.
