Millennium Bridge is a pedestrian only bridge, located in Greater London, United Kingdom. Built in 2000, it has become a popular landmark and a great spot for tourists. With its 140m length, it is the longest bridge in London that is completely dedicated to pedestrians. Millennium Bridge was created to connect popular London attractions like The Globe Theatre, Tate Modern and St. Paul's Cathedral. Its unique design makes it quite recognizable: two thin steel arches rising 80ft in the air and two raised walkways. Its modern design is much appreciated by the public. The view of the city from the bridge is simply stunning!
