
Mikhailo-Arkhangel'skiy Kafedral'nyy Sobor is a grandiose Orthodox Russian church in Izhevsk, Russia. Built from white stone and local pine, it stands out against the sky, creating a brilliant silhouette. It was founded in 1867 and serves as the cathedral of the Eparchy of Izhevsk and Udmurtia. The structure reaches nearly 70 meters tall, with five gilded domes, and is richly decorated with Orthodox Orthodox iconostasis and mozaic murals. Inside the church, visitors will find an organ and a grand interior with intricately detailed chandeliers and candleholders. The walls and ceiling also boast a combination of original Renaissance, High Baroque and Rococo-style paintings.
