
Mike Lake, in Maple Ridge, Canada is a popular destination for hikers, swimmers and campers. The lake is known for its beautiful shoreline – with expansive views of rolling hills and trees – and crystal-clear water. As part of the Golden Ears Provincial Park, it can easily be reached by well-maintained trails. Though relatively small, it makes for a perfect destination for a peaceful daytrip away from the city. This is a great place to relax, fish, swim, kayak or canoe, and to capture the beauty of nature that is so unique to the area. Make sure to bring a picnic lunch and plenty of water, as there are no facilities at the lake. You will also want to wear a lifejacket, as the lake depths can change quickly.
