The Metrópolis Building in Madrid is an icon of Spanish modernism. Located in the heart of Madrid, this gorgeous palatial building was designed in 1907 by the renowned architect José Grases Riera. The curved balconies and decorations make it one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Built from a combination of stone and brick, its reddish hue is striking against the neutral colors of the nearby buildings. With bells, gargoyles, and intricate tile work, there is much to explore and admire here. Inside, you will find a stunning lobby, with stained-glass windows and a grand staircase. The top floor has a terrace with a 360-degree view of Madrid. It is a stunning building and one that should not be missed!
