Melasti Beach Monument is a beautiful Hindu monument in Ungasan, Bali. It was built in 2016 and sits on a rocky cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. This monument symbolizes the long history of Hinduism on the island and is one of the oldest and most important temple sites on Bali. The temple grounds feature several statues of various Hindu Gods, as well as some ancient ruins. A path from the beach takes visitors up to the stone temple, and the views of the beach below are breath-taking. Visitors should be sure to bring respectful clothing and proper footwear for exploring this memorial site.
