The Meiji Centennial Observation Tower is located in Futtsu, Japan. The tower shapes is a large silo, similar to a lighthouse, that stands at the edge of Tokyo Bay. From the top of this impressive structure, visitors have a great view of the Pacific Ocean, stretching all the way to Tokyo. This is also a great spot to take in the beauty of Izu and Boso Peninsulas. Inside the tower, visitors can purchase souvenirs, snacks, and drinks. The admission fee to the top of the 70-meter (230-foot) high tower is 500 yen. This pays for one time admission to the top of the tower, as well as a souvenir of their visit. The Meiji Centennial Observation Tower is open year round, and offers visitors a great opportunity for panoramic views of Japan’s fabulous skyline.
