Mehrangarh Fort, located in Jodhpur, India, is one of the largest forts in India. Built over 400 years ago at the peak of a 125-meter-high hill, it was the seat of Jodhpur’s royalty and remains an imposing structure. The massive red fort offers spectacular views of the city of Jodhpur and makes for an unforgettable photo opportunity. The fort is home to a palace, a museum, a temple and numerous gates and bastions. Inside the fort are seven massive gates adorned with intricate carvings and protective iron spikes, each gate providing a glimpse of the grandeur within. The fort also houses a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, which is open to the public. The fort is a great destination for photography and offers stunning views from the ramparts.
